Texas and Russia tonight on 30 meters. Several additional calls from Europe, but band up and down and not easy to maintain contact.
My Workbook on Hiking, Cycling, Weather, and Public Service, all tied together with Radio Waves. I hope you find something useful here.

Straight Key Century Club Weekend Sprintathon for April 2016
Most of my QSOs this WES were made operating Mobile from Hartford and Litchfield Counties in Connecticut. While the QSO count wasn't very high, I greatly enjoyed each and every contact. I was using a Yaesu 857d at 100 watts, J-38 type key with leg mount, and Hamsticks for 20 and 40 meters--stationary mobile operation. I appreciated all the contacts, and was especially pleased with good signal reports from Wolf DK7OB, Bob F6EJN, and Bert F6HKA.
P.S. I've gotta clean up the bread crumbs from the Jeep Console (biscuit & coffee is a necessary part of morning mobile ops!).
