Thanks to K9UDX, Bob, my New Hampshire neighbor to the north. I listened for some time to get an idea of how net operations worked. I finally got up the courage on August 30, 2009 to make my first SSB contact. I signed on the OMISS 80 meter SSB net. They are a great group of amateur operators. K9UDX was the first contact I made. That was followed by several others that evening. I eventually received my OMISS member number 6645. Bob’ QSL card is great for a number of obvious reasons. I shows the great New England scenery, and highlights his awesome dog. Thanks Bob for the contact and your OMISS number. 73 from Connecticut.
